Dianna Boykin – IIDA Affiliate, IADA, RES

Intuitively bringing together the client’s lifestyle and home architecture to create radiant harmonious living spaces are hallmarks of the design philosophy of N. Gwinnett based interior designer Dianna Boykin, owner and president of Signature Interiors, Inc. With a design sense born of West Texas sunsets and Southern California surf and accentuated by her extensive design studies in England, France, and Italy, Dianna brings a unique blend of form, function and style to each of her projects.

Growing up in Odessa/Midland, Texas and later in the Los Angeles area, Dianna was heavily influenced by such disparate elements as desert and ocean, stucco and iron, mosaics of tile and glass, and lush garden landscapes. She later moved to the Atlanta area with her family where she studied Decorative Arts at the University of Georgia, Business Administration at Mercer University and worked as a businesswoman for 20 years.

When Dianna's business savvy and sense of style landed her a job as a buyer for a home furnishings chain, she grew the custom upholstery department threefold in less than three years and realized her talent and affinity for the design business. Merging her creative and entrepreneurial desires, she opened Signature Sofa Gallery, a custom upholstery store, in 1991.

By 1999, Dianna had grown the business into a full-line home furnishings and interior design firm and studied at the Gwinnett Tech School of Design where she currently sits on the Advisory Board. Design study tours in the major capitols of Europe further refined her experience and style.

In May 2003 Dianna fulfilled her life-long dream and founded Signature Interiors, Inc., focusing solely on full-service interior design.  In 2006 in order to service a growing need in the design field, Dianna added certifications in Real Estate Enhancement (Staging) and Interior arrangement and redesign to her list of credentials.

Dianna's design work was exhibited in the 2001 Street of dreams, Inc. and has won numerous awards including "Best of Show" in the Show house Benefit 2002 producted by the Georgia Home Furnishings Association and "Best Curb Appeal", "Best Lighting", "Best Dining Room,” “Best Living Room,” “Best Kitchen” and “Best Breakfast Area” in the 2000 Home Expo produced by the Home Builders Association of Atlanta. Her firm was honored as “Best Interior Design Firm” in Gwinnett Magazine’s “Best of Gwinnett 2002” and was featured in the Gwinnett Post in 2000, 2001,2002, and 2003, Atlanta Magazine in 2000 and 2001 and in a prominent Japanese design magazine in 1999. In 2005 Dianna’s work was featured in Georgia Lifestyle and North Atlanta Living magazines for two of her most recent outstanding kitchen remodel design projects. She is also continuously featured in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazines.Today, Dianna remains the driving force behind Signature Interiors, Inc. working with clients in the Gwinnett, North Fulton, Hall, Forsyth, Barrow, and Henry Counties as well as Calloway Gardens, Chateau Élan, Eagle’s Landing, Lake Oconee, Hilton Head, SC, Portofino, FL and Japan.
